FAB Builder Studio offers four tenancy modes, each tailored to specific use cases and organisational needs. Understanding these modes helps users configure their applications for optimal performance, data segregation, and scalability. 

1. Single Tenant Mode 

• Description: In Single Tenant mode, each organisation or user gets a dedicated instance of the application, ensuring complete data isolation. 
• Use Case: Ideal for businesses like healthcare institutions or financial organisations that require strict data privacy and regulatory compliance. For example, a hospital needing isolated patient records or a bank managing client-sensitive data. 

2. Multi-Tenant Mode 

• Description: Multi-Tenant mode uses a shared instance to serve multiple users or organisations, keeping data separated but utilising shared resources. 
• Use Case: Best suited for SaaS platforms like a customer relationship management (CRM) tool that serves multiple small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) looking for an affordable solution to manage client interactions on a shared infrastructure. 

3. Flexible Tenant Mode 

• Description: With Flexible Tenant mode, you can go back and forth between Single Tenant and Multi Tenant, based on how your business changes. This mode is best for use where some users or organisations need dedicated environments for control and security, and others can work well in shared environments.  
• Use Case:  Suitable for enterprises like global retail chains where some subsidiaries require dedicated environments for compliance reasons, while others operate efficiently on shared resources. 

4. Multi-Subdomain Mode 

• Description: Multi-Subdomain mode provides separate subdomains for each tenant, enhancing branding and ensuring better resource segregation. 
• Use Case:  Perfect for franchises or e-commerce platforms, such as a clothing brand with independent regional stores. Each store can have its own subdomain (e.g., us.brandname.com, eu.brandname.com) while maintaining a unified platform.
